Tacitus - Discrete Audit
We work with HNW individuals to design systems and safeguards to protect their assets.
Where there are particular areas of concern we use legitimate means to investigate on their behalf. This can involve:
- visiting overseas locations to ensure that assets exist and are secure,
- investigating the ownership of potential corporate business partners,
- auditing fees and charges by individuals/companies and researching market rates and alternatives to ascertain if there is any reason to believe that they are not legitimate or excessive,
- auditing cash movements through multiple owned bank accounts to ensure there is no unauthorised leakage
- Analysing all personal and household income and expenditure over an agreed period to present a picture of annual/monthly expenditure and to (1) present a consolidated understanding of lifestyle income and expenditure and (2) highlight any potential one-offs or anomalies that may need to be looked into.
